Early intervention

The stages of hormonal symptoms

Symptoms usually build gradually, then pull in other systems. The earlier the drivers are found, the more can be done.

1
Subtle shifts
Energy, sleep or mood a little off
2
Cyclical
Symptoms build around your cycle
3
Persistent
Most days; work and life affected
4
Spreading
Gut, thyroid, weight and mood involved
5
Diagnosed condition
e.g. PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid disease
6
Complex
Several conditions at once
Stages 1–4 · The window where early care makes the most difference
Stages 5–6 · Requiring a full diagnostic work-up with specialist labs and in-depth care

Stages 1–4 · The early intervention window

Stage 1

Subtle shifts

Energy, sleep or mood feel a little off, often dismissed as being busy.

Our focus: A full history to map the pattern early.

Stage 2

Cyclical

Symptoms build around your cycle, or come and go in perimenopause.

Our focus: Tracking your cycle and symptoms, and checking iron, thyroid and blood sugar.

Stage 3

Persistent

Symptoms on most days, affecting work, relationships and confidence.

Our focus: Functional blood chemistry and targeted hormone and gut testing.

Stage 4

Spreading

Gut, thyroid, weight and mood become involved.

Our focus: A whole-body plan covering nutrition, blood sugar, gut, stress and sleep.

The window for change is early

The earlier the drivers are found, the simpler they usually are to support, and the less your life has to bend around your symptoms.
